Overall a very cosy, clean and comfy hotel in a central location but with room for improvement. Pros: + small but functional room (deluxe queen) + view from room was pleasant overlooking surrounding area + AC worked well and was comfortable between 22-24 degree celcius for me + basic and important amenities provided other than those listed on their description are include bedroom slippers, removable hangers and place for hanging clothes + bedding quality was excellent with comfy pillows (4 pcs), clean and cooling bed and comforter + sufficient lighting with sufficient choice of how bright I want the room to be + bathroom was clean and everything was working well with hot and cold water + pool at rooftop was small but pleasant but sadly I didn't have a chance to use it + surrounded by many eateries and cafes but those within the vicinity are tourist priced + short walk to Bugis Junction and everything you want to get from a mall + a 7-11 convenience store is located very near to the hotel As the hotel doesn't offer food options, here are some suggestions: * Have breakfast at Hj Mahmoodiah near the hotel. On weekends and during lunch hours may be hard to find a place to sit (730am-730pm) * Have coffee at Early Bird. They also serve some alcoholic drinks * Dine at Symmetry which is just opposite the hotel. Their food is excellent and service is great (Sat-Wed 9am-11am, Thu-Fri 10am-11pm) * Try the Heng Long Teochew Porridge Rice near the hotel. Smells really good and the spread is generous (11am-4am) * Take a 10 minute walk to Golden Mile Food Centre where local delicacies are abundant and really tasty (speaking from an Asian's p

We stayed there in a executive family room before we continued our trip to another Asian country. Great location, just a 10 minutes stroll from Bugis Mall, MRT, to the other side a lot of hawker food places, right at the hotel many of small restaurants, mainly muslim. 7-11 around the corner with good selection. No need to have dinner at the not so cheap place right at the hotel... Fast WiFi. They solved the TV solution with a beamer that projected a cinema-like picture on the wall, worked out surprisingly well. Access to youTube and other stuff. We are spoiled with our beds at home, but we did not suffer from bad sleep here to put it like that. ;-) The small roof pool was a gem in my opinion. I add some pics for a better illustration. The staff was very helpful, quick fix when the toilet got clogged. For Singaporean conditions definitely a worthy choice. - I read that they also have rooms without windows, so be aware of that. BTW, there is a place called "Waffle House" at the next intersection on the way to Bugis. Kind of the first place you see when getting there. Avoid, its a ripp off. Expensive, bad coffee, mediocre food, unprofessional service. A little breakfast experience for the price of a whole family dinner other places... Just continue a few meters behind that place and you're in regular "food heaven"...

Very very clean and very quiet.Staff polite and helpful. Pool clean and refreshing after a hot sweaty day exploring.Had it to ourselves most of the time. So close to bus stops. Very easy to get around. Bugis and Kampong glam super close. Two rail stns very close. Laneway at the side of hotel for smoking. Was able to leave bags after check out and collect later. Stored in locked storeroom with a ticket to retrieve them. There is a seven eleven within a minute walk that sells milk, meals, smokes etc. Great protector in room, plenty of power sockets. Safe in room. 1/2 dozen coat hangers. Clean fluffy towels. Crispy clean sheets. Overall a great hotel.

Upon check-in, we were informed that if stains were found in beddings we would be charged. In my years of travelling, it was my first time to hear such a policy. When we got to the room, the beddings were immaculately white ( no wonder they charge for stained beddings). The room was spacious enough for 3 adults (with 3 luggage) or even 4 people. The towels, though, were yellowish. The location was great as it was 5-min walk to Bugis and Haji Lane. The eateries in the area open late and close early. The nearest convenient store does not have much food choices.

This room is likely the most high-tech room we've ever stayed in. In fact, the projector is so good that we're planning to buy one for when we get home. The exact same applies to the shower, it was epic! The location of the hotel was lovely as well - most of Singapore is walkable anyway but being near an amazing culinary and historical district really adds to the experience. The Beds were free of bed bugs (we always check) and the entire room was super clean. The A/C was incredibly effective too and it was surprisingly quiet at night considering the location.
